Think of us as your pickleball court concierge!
Work directly with ex-pro pickleball player Alex Neumann to design a court that fits your yard and your lifestyle. From concept to completion, we guide you every step of the way.
Why Build a Backyard Pickleball Court?
There’s nothing like stepping outside and playing on your own court. No wait times. No memberships. No driving across town.
Even if you’re not a big pickleball player yourself, a court is the perfect space for friends and family of all ages to get outside and spend time together. There’s a reason pickleball has become the fastest growing sport in America. It’s fun and easy to play, whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced racquet sport player.
A backyard pickleball court adds:
A dedicated space for family time and connection
A healthy outlet right outside your door
A premium feature that enhances your property value
Whether you're looking for recreational family play or a court that performs at a competitive level, we design every project with long-term playability in mind.
Important Things to Consider Before Building
Designing a backyard pickleball court is exciting, but smart planning makes all the difference. These are the key factors we walk every homeowner through.
Check out our blog to read more about the key factors to think about when building your court.
-
A standard court is 20’ x 44’, but safe play requires extra space around it. We evaluate your yard size, shape, and surrounding structures to create a layout that works.
-
Positioning matters. A north-south orientation typically reduces sun glare and improves playability.
-
What’s underneath the court determines how long it lasts. Proper grading and drainage prevent cracking and long-term maintenance issues.
-
Not all surfaces play the same. We help you choose materials that provide consistent ball response, durability, and comfort based on how you plan to use the court.
-
Planning for lighting and fencing early ensures safety, functionality, and future flexibility.
